Taking screenshots is a good way to show someone where a certain button is, how it looks like or you may find this action useful if you encounter an unusual error and you need to remember what it says. Brown EasyTake lets you take snapshots of any region of your screen and save it as an image file. It is simple, fun to use and it is free.

The package you need to download is 2.78 large. installing the application will take a few seconds and you can run it on most Windows operating systems, including Win 7.

A small window with one button will appear when launching the application. Clicking the button will display a transparent rectangle on your screen. You can move around by clicking and dragging it and resize it by dragging the lower left or lower right corners with your mouse.

The rectangle must be placed over the area you wish to capture. After doing this, you have to click the button on the interface one more time in order to capture the targeted area. A preview of the screenshot will be displayed on the interface, beneath the button and you can save it as a .png file.

Clicking the upper area of the interface will display additional options for accessing an "About" file, upgrading the application to the Pro version or checking for updates.

Pros

The application offers a very simple way to capture any area of your screen. You only have to click a button two times and the snapshot will be ready.

Cons

Nothing to think about Taking snapshots of your screen has never been easier. Brown EasyTake only requires clicking a button and the image will be ready for saving.
